Penydarren Social club lies just to the north of the main town of Merthyr Tydfil on the road heading to Dowlais. It is a popular social club with many events taking place regularly in the evenings.
Sky TV is available in all the main rooms. One large screen in the lounge, 2 large screens in the bar and one projector screen in the main hall which is available for large events such as the rugby.
There is an outside drinking and smoking area. The club also has a large parking area for anyone who has to drive.
A dart board and a pool table are available in the bar and bar prices are very competitive. There are also 2 snooker tables which are available to members of the club only.
If anyone wishes to book the main hall for functions then please contact the club. If the booking is for more than 150 people then there is no booking fee for the function. The hall is able to hold over 300 people.
